Homebrewer at Maker Faire, Cool equipment
« on: August 10, 2010, 08:54:02 AM »
When I was at the Maker Faire Detroit  a couple weekends ago I ran into this guy, Joe Szacon showing off a fully automated, web-based brewing system built from a keg, a cooler, some parts from an old dishwasher and an Arduino controler.

When I talked with him; he lives nearby and didn't seem adverse to coming down and doing a talk about his system. Is anyone else interested?

For the record he also has a web-based smoker so he can also smoke meats from work.

Neat stuff, really.

I missed this one and just checked it out.  HOLY crap!   That is completely geek brewing!   Love it.  That might be cool to have him down, I wonder if he could haul his system..
